Ekrem Kutlu

Kutlu born in Akçaabat, Trabzon, Türkiye graduated from Karadeniz Technical University, Faculty of Education as an Art Teacher where he has taught over 650 art students since 2005. He was selected as a member of the Cultural Research Board of Akçaabat Municipality. In 2012-2013, he took part in the organization of Akçaabat International Art Workshop. He was the curator of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Art Workshops organized by Beylikdüzü Municipality. In 2018, he participated in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th ART TRABZON International Art Workshop. He was the curator of the group painting exhibition in Trabzon and Batum organised by Batum Turkish Consulate, Akçaabat Municipality and Batum Municipality. He has attended exhibitions held by the Association of Trabzon with the help of the Foreign Ministry in the Turkish Consulate, Paris, France. In 2022, he curated an Exhibition in Epinaysur Seine for Turkish artists and also he was the curator of exhibitions for the Synergy Art Group, İstanbul, Paris, Bursa and Akçaabat which featured artists from 19 different countries. His paintings are exhibited in Paris Turkish Consulate, Paris Turkish Embassy, UNESCO Official Residence of Paris, Epinaysur Seine Municipality, Paris Trabzon Association, Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Turkish Court of Cassation, Head Offices of Vakıfbank and Ziraat Bank, Akçaabat Municipality, Beylikdüzü Municipality, Çorlu Municipality, Çorum Art Center, Governorship of Kayseri, and many other official and private collections. He has participated in many art exhibitions including: 27 personal art exhibitions in Paris, Dortmund, Batum, Gaziantep, Çorlu, Trabzon, İzmir and Ankara and 250 group exhibitions. He has been priviledged to take part in 20 International Art Workshops in Tunusia, Dortmund, Torun, Poland, Monastery, Sapanca, Datça, Bilkent, Akçaabat and Trabzon and Tüyap İstanbul Art Fairs and ArtAnkara Art Fairs. He is currently living and working from his atelier in Akçaabat and is married with two children.
